DIN Microphone Clip

DIN is a "Near Coincident" stereo micing technique that provides a good balance between stereo localization and spaciousness. Place microphones in the clip with the diaphrams about 20cm apart (about 7 7/8”). DIN is a good option for micing small ensembles at relatively short distances.

This clip creates a fast, easy, repeatable stereo micing setup. Includes attachment points for flying/hanging.

May be attached directly to a standard US 5/8” thread mic stand, but we suggest using the clip in conjunction with a swivel adaptor such as the WindTech MA-1, OnStage MM01, or Triad M1-R.

Our microphone products generally come in five different sizes: Universal, 19mm, 20mm, 21mm and 22mm, however, multiple sizes are available. We can fit any microphone.

See compatibility chart for sizing.

Our “Universal Size” clip will fit microphones up to about 25mm in diameter.
